Amber Rose Says Wiz Khalifa "Was The Love Of My Life"
Nearly six months after filing for divorce from Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose stopped by The Hot 97
Morning Show and addressed her life after marriage and current return to dating life.
When asked about her current romantic interests, Rose admitted to going on several dates with
different celebrities. "They are famous," she said before adding, "they're not in the music industry
though...I personally feel like I don't wanna date a regular guy. I feel like a regular guy's not fully gonna understand my life...There's actors, there's artists. There's poets. There's people out there."
Speaking about the fallout after her divorce, Rose addressed the months after the divorce. "I sat in the house and cried for four months straight," she said.
"Everyday, all day, when I woke up, when I went to bed. In the middle of the night...Wiz was the love of my life. He broke my heart. You know, now, it's months later and I'm just trying to date. I just want nice guys. That's
it."
Later in the interview, Rose went on to address headlines about her twerking on Chris Brown,
saying that she was "being petty, 'cause I was hurt over my husband."
"Since I filed for divorce my husband has been out with 50 different women," she said. "Pulling
sweaty white bitches out the club.
All these other girls, I ain't even gonna talk shit, all these other
girls, do whatever. Not only was I in the house crying everyday, mourning my husband. You know, I had to see that on top of it. And I'm in the house. I was like, 'You know what Chy?' [to] my friend [Blac] Chyna, 'Maybe we should go out tonight. Maybe I should go out and just have a couple drinks, let loose a little bit.' Chris Brown, I did Chris Brown's video seven years ago. He's been my friend for such a long time. I wasn't like, 'I'm gonna go to the club and be all over the Internet.' He was there and we danced for like 20 seconds. Yes it was petty. It was so petty. But that's what happens as women when you get your feelings hurt, you're in a very vulnerable state to be petty at times. That was one of those times."
